ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Witness is an ongoing series of 3D-rendered environments that I come back to while in between larger projects. These stills are an exploration of mundane spaces from a hypothetical world, especially hallways, waiting rooms, lobbies, and other liminal spaces. I am interested in the way an object can embody a distinct history, and, when in context with other objects, the ways in which they work together to create new relationships and narrative. Created completely in 3DsMax, and rendered in V-Ray, these images are meant to seem almost real, but at the same time artificial.
